Fina players are Linux-based and therefore consume far less power and emit significantly less heat than PC-based players. They also produce smoother video playback thanks to their dedicated mutimedia processor. Quieter operation and lower cost are proven additional advantages Fina players have over PD-based players.

Patented P2P High-Speed Transmission

Peer-to-peer networking (P2P) is a protocol that runs on a terminal client and shares files with other clients across the network. P2P networks work by connecting individual clients together to share files, instead of having to go through a central server.

High transfer speed -- crucial for a large digital signage network -- is an obvious adbantage of P2P transfer. According to P2P protocol, the more terminals the faster transfer speed.

In traditional transfer technologies such as FTP and HTTP, all clients receive data from one central server -- thereby significantely taxing the server workload and restricting the transfer speed. But in the P2P protocol, clients exchange dat individually with one another, thereby mitigating the bottleneck typical in traditional server structures.

Linux-based Players

Support up to 7 Zones on Screen

The Fina System supports up to 7 zones on one screen. The Main Video Zone plays full motion video. The Marquee Zone displays different information, including third-party advertising or public information such as Stocks, Weather, Traffic, Sports and Currency, The Marquee Zone supports HTML feed. The Banners -- both horizontally and vertically scrolled -- display scrolling message of banner ads. The zone layout can easily be customized.
